The Glenside Book Garden will be a charming place designed for you to linger and find your next escape. A perfect spot to browse, bring your child, a friend, a date, and unwind before or after taking a barre class upstairs at Align, browsing Vinyl Chickie and Dovetail, grabbing a coffee at Raven Cafe, and stopping into the

local breweries, bars, restaurants, and music venues down the street. 

19038 is getting a place a whimsy! Glenside Book Garden is a new independent bookstore opening in mid-2026 at Glenside Lanes. We will host author readings and signings, book clubs, produce engaging events, and themed pop-up shops. The bookstore will celebrate diversity, inclusion, and community. 

More than just a bookstore, it will be a welcoming gathering place that spreads joy and enriches the local economy, and thrives on that Glenside Pride.
